cycle_x_0001 Intake Note

This internal note defines the operational intake procedure for the first source-record pair of cycle_x_0001. It explains how src_0001 and src_0002 should be entered, reviewed, and moved toward group-level readiness. This note is workflow guidance only; it does not create evidence strength, proof, prediction validation, trading-performance evidence, or product validation.

Current Intake Status

The first source-record pair is pending.

cycle_x_0001 is active as an evidence shell, but the first structured source-record inputs have not yet been added or reviewed.

Operational Intake Procedure

How to process src_0001 and src_0002.

This procedure should be followed when the first source-record inputs become available.

1. Fill src_0001 for group_a 2. Fill src_0002 for group_b 3. Confirm source_type and source_origin 4. Record observed_at_or_window 5. Write inclusion_reason 6. Write comparability_note 7. Run Source Record Review Checklist 8. Assign review outcomes 9. Evaluate group_level_readiness 10. If ready or limited_ready, move cycle_x_0001 toward reading_ready
Source Record Entry Template

Fields required for each source_record.

Both src_0001 and src_0002 should use the same entry structure so that comparison remains controlled and auditable.

Source Record Review Checklist

What must be checked before acceptance.

A source_record may move out of pending_review only after these checks are completed.

Identity and assignment

  • source_id_check
  • assigned_group_check
  • source_type_check
  • source_origin_check

Timing and inclusion

  • no_favorable_selection_check

Comparison eligibility

Review Outcomes

Accepted, limited, or rejected.

Review outcome determines comparison eligibility only. It does not determine evidence strength or result status.

accepted_for_comparison

All required checks pass. The source_record may enter the group_a / group_b comparison.

Allowed

limited_for_comparison

The source_record is usable, but one or more limitations must be preserved in coverage_decision, confidence, failure_mode, or interpretation_note.

Allowed

rejected_for_comparison

Required structure, provenance, timing, inclusion, comparability, or claim-boundary discipline is missing or invalid.

Allowed

pending_review

Default state before review. The source_record is reserved or entered but not yet accepted into comparison.

Default
Next Gate

Move from source review to group-level readiness.

After src_0001 and src_0002 are reviewed, group_a and group_b should be evaluated together.

If src_0001 = accepted_for_comparison and src_0002 = accepted_for_comparison and minimum coverage + comparability are satisfied: → group_level_readiness = ready If one source_record is limited but usable: → group_level_readiness = limited_ready If one or both source_records are rejected or missing: → group_level_readiness = not_ready
Claim Boundary

Intake does not create evidence classification.

Source-record intake is input registration only. It does not prove or disprove Ψ_T, does not assign result_status, and does not validate prediction, trading performance, or product performance.
